Biblically Based
We always start with the passage, not the theme. So our planning takes into consideration what the passage is trying to say, rather than trying to shoehorn a message into a passage that was never intended to carry that word.
Encounter Focused
We value helping kids encounter Christ. That’s why we give you plenty of ideas to help create space for encounter within your lessons. Prayer activities, worship song ideas and sensory activities help children to explore their feelings of awe and wonder towards their loving Father God. These times allow the Holy Spirit to work on their hearts as you minister.
Relevant
Our teaching series focus on relevant Bible passages and themes to the 5-11s age group. We use object lessons that are relevant to kids incorporating objects that they are familiar with and take into account their cultural context.
Relational
We use discussion questions to get kids talking and provide opportunities for children to work together in different activities. Children love to come back to church when they have built friendships with the other children, discussion helps children to connect.
Interactive
The best lessons are those that involve the children and give them things to do. Many children are kinaesthetic learners – they need to actively be involved. That’s why we have a variety of rotation stations and activities that children can engage with in the lesson.
Fun Filled!
Children love learning when learning is made fun! Many problems stem from Bible lessons becoming too boring or irrelevant; children start to act out and don’t want to come back. Our curriculum helps you to make your ministry fun, whilst still focussing on your primary goal: ministering Christ to and with kids.
